Trick-or-Treat and More.......

October was a busy month for the Founy's. I didn't get around to posting all the funness (yes thats a word:) we were having. So here is a really long post about our fun festivities......

Halloween:

Cohen decided he wanted to be Captain Hook way back in sept. Bosten was going to be a Lion, reasons being- one... because i already had the costume, two...because he roars at everyone, and three...because when asked he would say "Yion" and i didnt think he really understood or cared. Well the first Halloween party (see details further down in post) he freaked, which could have been part to him refusing nap and then falling asleep in the car on the way over. So anywho, he no longer wanted to be a "yion" and wanted to be "Hook".

My kids weren't really into trick-or-treating this yr. Bos threw in the towel early due to no nap and did most of his candy getting from James' shoulders. The kid lives and dies by naps or at least i live and die by his naps! Cohen really wanted to get back home and hand out the candy.

I always wanted to catch a ghost type thingy in one of my pics...spooky.

Jags was a fabulous sleeping giraffe for the most part.

Cant forget the Howells clan. Grayden was adorable as a zebra, but he too didn't really want to trick-or-treat.

Pumpkin Patch/Hee Haws:

We went to Hee Haws early on, since we heard they had a fantastic pumpkin patch with great pricing. (thanks to the ford fam)

The Boys LOOVED it. And we scored some great pumpkins and very unique gourds.

Hee Haws also has a few fun activies for the kiddos to do, so we took advantage of that.

Halloween Party #1:

We had a friend Halloween party and Haley did a fabulous job. We had a cake walk, pinata, fishing station and lots of yummy food.

Bosten did not want to be a lion. As i mentioned eariler, he was not having a good day and stripped his costume as soon as possible.

However, he loved the cake walk and kept sneaking cupcakes. He scarfed down 3.

Rakellys girls are always so great to pose for me. And look how cute their costumes are...Cindy lou who and strawberry shortcake.darling.

Halloween Party #2

Grandma Katy threw a little party. Collin really wanted to bob for apples, so we did. yummy food, doughnuts, brain search, and lots of fun. I wish i would have snapped a pic of all the cute food she did.

Halloween Pary #3:

Gma DeAnn and Gpa Farrel threw a little party too. Everyone dressed up, which is always fun. Since i had 3 Captain Hooks, i thought i might as well be Tinkerbell. We played some fun games and the boys put together a cool skeleton. Again there was great food and lots of fun.

Rog won the doughnut contest, very easily. And well, Bos just pulled his off the string.

wow that was long. Im all blogged out now. yeah right, my goal is to stay on top of this and not have to have ridiculously long posts. tootles
