We had a crazy busy Easter Saturday. The boys had an indoor soccer game right in the middle of the day, so it threw a curve ball in all the family parties that were being planned.

Backing up a little we started out the week with Bosten's surgery, that went great, but he wasn't really in the mood to do anything, so we just laid low.
One of my besties, Haley, threw her annual friends Easter Egg hunt and Jagger couldn't have been more excited. He is at such a fun age for holidays and with his imagination its so fun for me too!
Jagger helped me fill 36 eggs with candy to take to the hunt and loved every minute of it.
Hunting for eggs at Haley's.
He just mozy's from egg to egg, even skipping over some that are right in front of his face.
It"s so frustrating to me for some reason. Just reach down and grab the freaking egg already, ahh!
Bosten was only 4 days days post-op and still wasn't feeling great. He only grabbed 5 eggs and I could see in his face he was so sad about it. Cohen and Jags shared their eggs though!
The whole clan of hunters.

Saturday morning we woke-up and got ready and met Gma and Gpa for the movie "The Croods". Such a cute show! We then headed to McGraths for a fun lunch with the rest of James' family. We then hurried off to Gma's and Gpa's for a fun easter egg hunt. The kids scored a killing of candy and also got two movies, Wreck It Ralph and Rise of the Guardians and Finnley got some really cute clothes.
From there we rushed off to the soccer game. After the game James rushed me to my hair appt. The family then had an hour break before the festivities were going to start at Gma Katy's house.
The kids had another easter egg hunt and again got a loot of candy. We then had a yummy dinner and kids looked through their eggs and played.
Not sure how i managed to capture only a couple of pictures of these events...?

Easter Morning.
I love holidays. I know I say this often, but I just love' em!
The boys of course are always up at the crack of dawn when holidays roll around,
so we were up early early Sunday morning.
so we were up early early Sunday morning.
The boys enjoyed their Easter baskets and another little Easter egg hunt that the Easter Bunny left.
I have been trying to keep Easter baskets more churchy/spiritual the past few years.
The boys all got a couple of church books and the easy reader scriptures.
Of course there is still candy and a few other things that kids love.
We had some good dinner conversations this week about Easter and Jesus. Cohen has really come to know about Easter. Jagger and Bosten just reply "Jesus died for us". At least we are getting somewhere, right?
Im so grateful for this Easter season and to really reflect on the whole reason we celebrate it.
Im so gratefully for my little family and so glad to know we can be together forever.

And just because, here is a classic picture of Jagger helping me grocery shop after picking him up from preschool.
Love him.
