We took Cohen and Bosten to the Scarecrow Festival the other night and had so much fun. Cohen was loving it. He got two balloon swords, which he loved to play with especially with daddy. There were lots of blow-up toys that he was excited about until some bigger kids knocked him over and that was the end of that. We went on a fun train ride and at the end tried to pick out some pumpkins. He wanted a "big one" and was so picky that we didn't even end up with one. Gma Katy went back for some pumpkins and let him pick out of those ones and sure enough he ended up with the biggest one. We put it out on the porch and he is quite concerned about it. Everytime he sees it he says "My pumpkin, My pumpkin". Oh, he is so cute.
On a different note... I put Bosten down for a nap in Cohens bed (still the crib) and Cohen was so upset. At first he was frantically looking and asking me where Bosten was. When I told him that he was in his bed he immediately started to whine..."thats my bed, thats my bed". I told him that he was such a nice big brother to let Bosten sleep in his bed and that Bosten really likes his bed to. It took some persuading and distracting but by the end he was excited to let Bosten sleep in his bed.
