Two Christmas Eve's

We were lucky this yr and celebrated two Christmas Eve's. We alternate yrs between our families spending the majority of the holiday with one family or the other. This yr was James' families yr. Our alternating finally worked our great this yr. We received no guilt trips from either side :)!
My mom was flying over Christmas, so we had a little Christmas Eve with her before she left.
We did a small reenactment of the Nativity scene. My boys love to dress up in the costumes, but their attn spand is slim to none, so it didn't last long.
Cohen always chooses the shepherd. Not sure why? Maybe because he gets to carry the sheep?? Bosten was the cow for about 30 seconds and then decided he did not want to participate, hence no pictures of him.

We opened the traditional pair of new jammies. Love new jammies.

The boys then opened one other gift.

Christmas Eve #2 at Grandma DeAnn's and Grandpa Farrels:

We started off with an array of delicious food and yummy treats. We sang a darling Santa song, which everyone played a part in. (pictured below)

We then all opened our "uniforms" as they are called at the Fountaine home.(pj's)

The grandkids opened up these adorable T-rex jammies. My kids loooved them. They are going through a huge dinosaur stage right now. they also each got a little stuffed puppy. Bosten has slept with his every night since.

The kids then opened up one more gift. Cohen opened this throw back Jazz blanket. He loooved it. He has slept with this every night since. The kid is a Jazz freak!!
