MEX-I-CO!!!

Hola, Amigos!

Mexico was AWESOME! It was so nice to get away from the cold weather. Our trip mainly consisted of laying out, volleyball, reading books, games, and just lots of beach time, and of course eating our guts out!

When we landed in Cancun, we jumped in a van and traveled about 40min to PLAYA DEL CARMAN, where we were dropped off at our CASA. (5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, it was gi-normous)

We went with 4 other couples. And one great thing was, they all love to take pictures just as much or more than i do!! So, sorry for the picture overload. :) Quality of pics not so great. I was not about ready to haul around my big SLR camera.

You could get great massages for $20 (us dollars) an hr! We got one on top of this building, that overlooked the ocean. It was fantastic. Well cindi's masseuse this time, not so great, but makes for a great story.

The boys were constantly throwing this football, in the ocean, across the street, to the shop owners, etc.


{XEL-HA} ~a natural aquatic theme park. This place is so pretty. It is a natural inlet and lagoon. The salt water enters and mixes with the underground fresh water. You couldn't wear your normal sunscreen here, you had to buy their "all natural sunscreen" so not to ruin the ecosystem.?? It was "all-inclusive" so you could eat and drink all day! They had all kinds of activities to do...snorkeling, cliff jumping, bike trails, cenotes, rope walk and swing, scuba diving, swim w/ dolphins, etc.

The boys loved the camera more than the girls on this trip:)

At Tulum, we took a potty break, and as we walked in, there was a sign that read this....

Cindy missed the sign and needed to come out of her stall to get some. funny. She is probably the funniest girl i know!

{Senior Frogs}

Look at this sweet new trick I learned from the server at Senior Frogs. Pretty cool ,uh. :)

Who's the european? Nope. That American is our good friend JD. His swim shorts were chaffing his legs so he decided to just take them off.

Which girl wouldn't kill for legs like that??

Oh my goodness, it was hilarious. It was so funny to watch peoples reactions.

Lots and lots of Beach volleyball.

The guys did such a great job planning this trip. It was so much fun.

And a huge thanks to my mom for watching our kiddos!

Oh, so on our last day we headed out to the beach for our last few hours of paradise and the boys wanted to get in a few more competitive games of 2 on 2 beach volley. James says, "hey, look at what that guy is reading." Us girls were sitting in front of this couple and of course immediately turn around (not obvious at all) and we see this.....

Are you kidding? First off there are lots of people around and secondly, and i would think most important, YOUR WIFE is right next to you. I of course needed a pic of this, so i got up and walked around to the other side of the volleyball court and acted like i was taking pictures of the boys, zoomed in and tried to get a good shot :) Not only is this guy reading playboy, but he is wearing a sweet speedo to show off his hairy legs. Classic. We saw lots of crazy things in Mexico. Tons of fat guys in speedos, LOTS of topless women, people asking us if we wanted pot or cocaine, and the infamous pharmacies that will sell you all sorts of meds, that you would need Rx in the U.S.

Oh, Mexico we will miss you, but i am glad i have my sheltered little life in Utah.
